Can anyone completely understand anything or what anyone Is really trying to communicate? Is this why humans thrive in ver specialised environments and fields because the language is expanded to allow for understanding the micro and complexities? The cost of this focus has been communicated to me as a lack of ' social skills' which to me is being able to relate to people that don't understand each other but try to get along....

The maximum degree of mutual understanding is equal to the common of the degrees of consistency of our own thoughts. We are completely understood when our own degree of consistency is matched by another and there is reciprocal will to understand. The limiting factor is typically not our capacity for understanding one another but what we have to offer that can be understood. It is only when the understanding we have to offer is exhausted that we need to get along by other means.

Thankyou for spending your time on a response Michael.

It will take me some time to interpret your answers however I can immediately agree with your " reciprocal will to understand" part.
